Explore below and you will see images of the one stone marker from the Jewish cemetery of Pergola, Italy. This stone represents the area that the Jewish burials were located going back to 1300 CE. The original stone markers or wood markers are gone. Most of the slate used is crumbled and the only way it is identified is with this single identification that it is a sacred and a holy place remembering the Jews of Pergola who last had a rabbi in the 1920s.

Sadly enough it is in a difficult and unkept location. But, this area is no longer forgotten and lost. We will adopt and maintain this area for years to come.
